sylvester stalloneSylvester Stallone was christened Michael Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone, Hell's Kitchen in Manhattan on July 6 June, 1946. He's the son of Italian-born Francesco "Frank" Stallone Sr who was a hairdresser and Jackie Stallone, an astrologer and dancer. He has a younger brother, Frank Stallone, who is a musician and actor. The complications of childbirth led to the lower left portion of Sylvester's face affected, resulting in the iconic "snarling" face and somewhat slurred speech. Stallone had a few of his first years in foster homes due to the volatile relationship between his parents. In the end, the couple divorced. Stallone was a drama student in Switzerland at the American College before moving on to Miami University. Stallone left school to explore acting in New York City.
