Clemens Gunn Sr. is a real estate agent. She was a graduate of Santa Fe Preparatory School in 1986. She was a major and was graduated at Northwestern University with a theatre degree. Gunn attended the British American Drama Academy, which she attended for one year in 1988. She lived in a house with Pamela Adlon after moving to Laurel Canyon Los Angeles. Gunn is well known as the character Skyler White in the AMC Drama Breaking. In 2013, and 2014, she won an award called the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Leading Female Actress in Drama Series. In August 2013 she wrote an op-ed piece for The New York Times examining the negative reactions of people towards her portrayal.
